Join the CLSC team and support students with intellectual disabilities as they pursue their person-centered career, social, independent living, and academic goals in an inclusive environment! Coaches and TAs in CLSC gain experience in direct support of UD students who are transitioning to independent living.

Current Opportunities

Point Coaches

Support a UD student with intellectual disabilities as they develop self-advocacy skills to pursue academic, interpersonal, career and independent living goals, utilizing the natural resources on campus. Point Coaches can be paid $12.00 per hour our be compensated by class credit.

Career Coaches

Support a UD student with intellectual disabilities at their internship site as they develop employment skills in a person-centered work-based learning internship on or off campus. Career Coaches can be paid $12.00 per hour or be compensated by class credit.

Career & Life Studies Certificate (CLSC) Internship

CLSC is a certificate program at UD for students with intellectual disabilities. Internships offer an opportunity to learn about inclusive higher education, conduct coaching and workshops, and facilitate campus connections with CLSC students.
