
The Center for Disabilities Studies had an operating budget of $6,550,599 from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024. The vast majority of CDS funding is realized through grants and contracts from federal and state agencies, non-profit organizations, foundations, businesses and individuals..
Included in the federal portion is $606,330 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Community Living for our core funding as a University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities.
This U.S. government organization is responsible for implementation of the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act of 2000. CDS also benefits from gifts made by individuals and organizations.
