Support CDS
Thank you for your interest in supporting the Center for Disabilities Studies, which is funded through grants, contracts and gifts from people like you. Donations can help in the following ways:
CDS Fund (general)
Your contribution to the CDS Fund will be an investment in the future work of the center: our facilities, our people, and new initiatives that can only be cultivated with your support.
CLSC Scholarship Fund
The Career and Life Studies Certificate (CSLC) Program is a stepping stone to academic and career success for post-secondary students with intellectual disabilities. Your contribution to the CLSC Scholarship Fund will help defray the cost of living and learning at UD for students who experience financial barriers to participation.
Tobin Fund for Visual Assistive Technology
Originally begun with a generous gift from the W.E. Tobin Foundation, the Tobin Fund for Visual Assistive Technology purchases equipment for people with vision loss who cannot afford it. Your donation to the Tobin Fund will enhance the independence, dignity, and self-reliance of Delawareans with vision loss.
Undergraduate Program Enrichment Fund
As those who have completed the Disability Studies Minor will attest, CDS influences hundreds of UD undergraduates each year through coursework, internships and experiential learning. Your donation to the Undergraduate Program Enrichment Fund will help enrich these experiences with memorable guest speakers, films and other extraordinary, inclusive learning experiences.
Spectrum Scholars Fund
Neurodiversity is an important element in UD’s commitment to a diverse campus community. The Spectrum Scholars program provides comprehensive supports, as well as career exploration experiences, to select autistic students pursuing undergraduate degrees.
