    The National Center on Educational Outcomes provides national leadership in the participation of students with disabilities in national and state assessments, standards-setting efforts, and graduation requirements.

  • National Center on Health, Physical Activity and Disability

    The National Center on Health, Physical Activity and Disability’s (NCHPAD) site provides information and resources that can help enable people with disabilities to become as physically active as they choose to be.

  • National Center to Improve Practice

    The National Center to Improve Practice (NCIP) promotes the effective use of technology to enhance educational outcomes for students with sensory, cognitive, physical and social/emotional disabilities.

  • National Council on Disability

    The National Council on Disability (NCD) is an independent federal agency that makes recommendations to the President and Congress on issues affecting Americans with disabilities.

  • National Council on Independent Living

    The National Council on Independent Living advances the independent living philosophy and advocates for the human rights of, and services for, people with disabilities to further their full integration and participation in society.

  • National Disability Rights Network

    The National Disability Rights Network works to improve the lives of people with disabilities by guarding against abuse; advocating for basic rights; and ensuring accountability in health care, education, employment, housing, transportation, and within the juvenile and criminal justice systems.

  • National Institute of Art & Disabilities

    The National Institute of Art & Disabilities (NIAD) provides an art program for people with developmental disabilities that promotes creative expression, independence, dignity and community integration.

  • National Institute on Disability, Independent Living and Rehabilitation Research

    The National Institute on Disability, Independent Living and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR) provides leadership and support for a comprehensive program of research related to the rehabilitation of individuals with disabilities.

  • National Leadership Consortium on Developmental Disabilities Leadership Institutes

    Held each summer and winter, these intensive week-long institutes offer a select group of people from organizations across the country the opportunity to join with a faculty of national experts in disability issues. Supporting the development of skilled, passionate leaders, the course emphasizes participation and collaboration. Participants work to create solutions to myriad organizational and leadership challenges and help ensure appropriate service delivery to individuals with disabilities. University of Delaware graduate credits are available for this course. Participants wishing to receive graduate credits will be required to pay an additional fee.

  • National Multiple Sclerosis Society: Greater Delaware Valley Chapter

    The National Multiple Sclerosis Society: Greater Delaware Valley Chapter works to improve the quality of life for people affected by MS in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware and raises funds for critical MS research.
