    Disability Statistics from Cornell University produces and disseminates statistical information on disability and the status of people with disabilities and establishes and monitors indicators of how conditions are changing over time to meet their health, housing, economic and social needs.

  • Disability Studies Minor

    The Minor in Disability Studies provides a unique interdisciplinary opportunity for undergraduate students to learn about the policies, services and systems that support the full participation of people with disabilities in all aspects of community life. Students are required to complete 18 credits of coursework including a capstone senior seminar that engages students in hands-on experience and application to real-life situations.

  • DisabilityResource.org

    DisabilityResource.org disseminates information about books, pamphlets, magazines, newsletters, videos, databases, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, telephone hotlines and online services that provide free, inexpensive or hard-to-find information to help people with disabilities live independently.

  • Down Syndrome Association of Delaware

    The Down Syndrome Association of Delaware promotes the general welfare of individuals with Down Syndrome by serving as a source of support, acceptance, encouragement, understanding and information for their families, professionals, and friends.

  • Early Childhood Education Major

    Early Childhood Education (ECE) majors join the fast-growing field of early care and education. There is great demand for certified early childhood and early childhood special education teachers. By combining intensive coursework with multiple student teaching placements, our students graduate with the skills necessary to succeed in inclusive classrooms.

  • Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore

    Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore provides services, education, outreach, and advocacy to help people living with autism and other disabilities better live, learn, work and play in their communities.

  • Easterseals Lifespan Respite Program

    Easterseals Lifespan Respite Program works to ensure that children and adults with disabilities or special needs and their caregivers have access to quality, affordable respite care.

  • Elementary Teacher Education Major

    The Elementary Teacher Education (ETE) program prepares outstanding elementary, middle school and special education teachers to meet the challenges of educating today’s diverse student population.

  • Epilepsy Foundation of Delaware

    Epilepsy Foundation of Delaware is an organization of volunteers and professional staff. They provide information and support for individuals with seizures and their families, increase awareness in the general community through education, and provide leadership and advocacy for epilepsy issues.
