Bio:

Dana is an Instructional Coach with the MTSS Technical Assistance Center. As a member of the team, she supports educators by providing professional learning and coaching to support the academic and non-academic development of all children.

Before joining the CDS team, Dana supported students and families in public and charter schools throughout the state. She is a former high school and middle school English teacher. Most recently, she served as an assistant principal in Red Clay Consolidated School District and Newark Charter Intermediate School. She has pioneered specialized programs and enrichment initiatives within her learning communities, yielding tangible positive effects not only on students’ academic accomplishments but also on their social and emotional development.

Dana has a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education English from Kutztown University and a master’s degree in Teaching and Learning and a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Innovation from Wilmington University. She lives in Newark, DE with her husband and three daughters.  In her spare time, she loves reading, nature walks, traveling and all things Philly sports.
