Peer Mentors and Peer Coaches

Peer Mentor Volunteers meet with Spectrum Scholars participants to support their adjustment to the social life of UD. Peer Mentors are a vital part of the comprehensive services offered by our program and are trained in weekly meetings using the NASPA Certified Peer Educator Curriculum.

Peer Coaches are trained undergraduate students interested in taking their experience to the next level, and who assist students in the coaching process. Peer Coaches meet with a small number of students each week and are supervised directly by Spectrum Scholars staff. Additional training and professional development is required.
