The pups are alright: UD students navigate service dog training during a pandemic

During the fall of 2019, before the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic necessitated social distancing, the UD chapter of Canine Companions for Independence gathered for a photo.
Members of the UD student group Canine Companions for Independence, who raise and train future service dogs on campus, have taken their dogs home to continue their work. Group members say that they and their puppies are taking the new challenges in stride because adaptability has always been a key aspect of service dog training.
