Surfers Healing camp in Ocean City: Catching waves, big smiles for kids with autism

The one-day surf camp brought surfing experts to Ocean City to share their love of the ocean with kids with autism. Karen Oosterhaus of the Delaware Network for Excellence in Autism, housed at the Center for Disabilities Studies, shared her thoughts on her son Jaime’s participation in the camp.
