Protesters decry Bosnia’s ‘systemic’ abuse of disabled kids

About 1,000 people conducted a protest in Bosnia’s capital, Sarajevo, accusing the government of fostering a corrupt and abusive system of care for children with disabilities. The protests came after an opposition politician published photos of children with disabilities in a local facility tied to beds and radiators. She demanded the government debate the issue but was rejected. More protests are planned for later in the week.
