Oral history project examines dark history, progress of disability rights in Delaware

The Delaware Developmental Disabilities Council (DDC) has documented the history of disability rights in Delaware in a series of videos, “Claws and Wings”. Senior administrator for DDC and CDS advisor, Pat Maichle shared that the oral history highlights the mistreatment of people with disabilities, specifically in institutions.
