Emotional aspects of spinal cord injuries: UD researchers developing tool to help people manage anxiety, depression

Researchers from UD’s Center for Health Assessment Research and Translation have been working to develop an e-health tool that includes computer-administered assessments and resources to help identify symptoms and provide self-management strategies from people with spinal cord injuries (SCI) experiencing anxiety and depression. The team was recently selected by the Department of Defense to run a three-year pilot of the tool, called iManage-SCI, at two health centers in New Jersey.
