Bio:

Marilyn serves as a Career Counselor within the Career and Life Studies Certificate (CLSC) program at the Center for Disability Studies. In this role, she focuses on career exploration and development for students, facilitating meaningful, person-centered employment experiences. Marilyn collaborates with local employers to create internships and job shadowing opportunities that align with each student’s career interests. She also teaches foundational career courses for first-year CLSC students, guiding them as they begin their professional journeys.

With a Master of Science in Counseling from Clarks Summit University, Marilyn brings over 13 years of experience in higher education. She has served in various roles, including Resident Director, Human Resources Director, and campus café manager, most recently working as Director of Student Employment and Career Readiness. Her diverse background gives her a unique perspective on student development and career coaching.

Originally from New Jersey, Marilyn spent much of her career in Clarks Summit, PA, before relocating to Newark, DE. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, outdoor adventures, board games, and exploring new places.
