UD, Newark continuing to see high number of new coronavirus cases

A coronavirus spike in Newark, Del., has caused the town to pass 1,000 diagnosed cases of Covid-19 and the University of Delaware to set record highs in new cases two weeks straight. A UD spokesperson says the uptick is partially due to UD student Halloween parties. University courses will be entirely remote starting after the Thanksgiving break and carrying through the Jan. 2021 winter session.
