Bio:

Carl is the Communications Manager for CDS, overseeing the communications team and ensuring effective outreach, advocacy, and public relations for the center.

Prior to joining CDS, he spent over 15 years handling communications for several state agencies including the Delaware Department of Justice and the Department of Heath and Social Services. He also served as the Director of DEPENDABLE, Delaware’s ABLE (Achieving a Better Life Experience) program, which allows individuals with disabilities to save money without jeopardizing state or federal benefits.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Radio-Television-Film Communications from Temple University, and spent almost 20 years as a journalist, and News Director at Delaware media outlets including WDEL and WHYY-TV.

A native of Philadelphia, he travels north on I-95 for Phillies and Temple Owls basketball games, as well as concerts and shows. He lives in Middletown, Delaware, with his family.
