Training Coordinator/Family Liaison

In her support of the Adapting Curriculum and Classroom Environments for Student Success (ACCESS) Project at CDS, Judi provides professional development, technical assistance and individual service to educators and families to help them facilitate access to the general education curriculum for students with significant disabilities.

Additionally, Judi is a coaching facilitator and family coordinator for the communication initiative, Systematic Processes for Enhancing and Assessing Communication Supports (SPEACS), working to improve services for students with complex communication needs.

Judi’s journey into the field began when her now adult daughter was born with Down syndrome. She worked as a parent advocate and consultant for 15 years before joining the CDS team in 2003.
