Special Olympics Delaware's signature event comprises athletes and Unified partners competing in six sports — bocce, powerlifting, softball, swimming, tennis and track & field — and a Motor Activity Training Program demonstration over two days.
In addition to the competitions, athletes have the opportunity to spend the night with their teams in the dormitories and enjoy the activities in Olympic Village at the Family Picnic on Friday after competition.
The Opening Ceremony takes place on Friday (Time TBA) at the Bob Carpenter Center and is free and open to the public.
