Sonja has worked for CDS’s Delaware Assistive Technology Initiative (DATI) for 25 years. As Project Coordinator, she represents the Center for Disabilities Studies in collaborative ventures with other organizations, including training activities and hosting conferences. She also oversees the operations of the DATI program; manages its Assistive Technology Resource Center (ATRC) equipment inventory for their lending libraries; and administers the Tobin Fund, the Borrow to Own Low-Vision Devices (BOLD) program and the National Deaf-Blind Equipment Distribution Program (NDBEDP).
Sonja enjoys spending time with her family, including her two grown daughters and six grandchildren, and the beach, where she sometimes tries her hand at crabbing and fishing. She lives in Laurel, Del.
